re: Expectations

I was getting tore up on these boards about my assessments of the A&M roster. I also shared my assessments of the OU team and Stoops and got beat up.

It wasn't an opinion. I was just looking at the size, weight, and speed of our athletes and comparing them to the past rosters, just as I would expect my former analysts to do (though I am not an analyst myself).

I thought Aggies would be excited to see we were moving in the right direction and that there were indicators like the "Blue Chip ratio" and 247's Team Talent out there that do not reflect most A&M fan's opinions on this board. Again...not my opinions. I am just pointing out information that is available to you to help people better formulate their own opinions.

I've worked with Bama athletes from other sports outside of football and they have informed me on how they believe that programs works and it is very "eye opening". The assessment of Sarkisian is just based on past information known about Saban and understanding how long the hiring process takes for new employees. There is no doubt in my mind that Sarkisian was assisting the staff and that it is likely that those assessments of USC were good enough to land him the job this week.
