As much as I love Bryant I've got to give it to Saban. Saban beats Bryant in 3 key areas: Recruiting, details, and change. Saban is willing to change to win. Bryant wasn't as amenable to change. He out recruited the competition and and out-motivated his players . Bryant molded great men physically and morally. Saban molds great men physically, morally and intellectually.
Saban got better with age. Bryant didn't.

Listen to Bryant's players talk about him. Do you hear anyone blubbering on about Saban?
Saban is an all time coach. Bear Bryant was a leader of Men.
