UA handled this in about the worst way possible. Either hold to policy or don't. If you're going to cave, don't wait until the kid and his mom drag you through the mud.

Agreed. Entire saga has been an embarrassment and I'm glad it's over.

Saban obviously doesn't want to deal with this during football season. Avoid the distraction and move on.

This. Saban typically puts together the best recruiting class in the country, but that isn't always a given.

This whole thing was a great big PR fail.
