They're absolutely loaded this year. There is no excuse for them to lose more than 2 games this year (including the postseason). If they can't win the SEC/make the playoff this year, then you have to consider showing Les the door. It's put up or shut up time, and Les' typical 10-3 season shouldn't cut it. They may not have a team with this amount of experience/talent for a little while since they'll be losing the majority of their key players to the draft/graduation.

I don't think anyone is arguing they're loaded. LSU IMO has always matched, or at least come close to, Alabama in terms of talent. The only difference this year is they have more experience coming back. Doesn't mean they have more talent.

but I'd add that if LSU goes 10-3, but QB play has improved, LSU fans will be more forgiving. 10-3 with another sub-par year passing the ball then it's over for Les.

Bingo! No excuses for LSU this year. They aren't young, they aren't inexperienced, they aren't starting a new QB, they didn't lose a ton to the NFL, and they have a favorable schedule. It's playoff or bust.
