Don't kid yourself, Saban was the reason they won a national championship and elite defensive talent.
Muschamp won the sugar bowl against an interim head coach and while urban was rebuilding osu to elite status, WM was destroying a 2 time national championship program and then got canned.
Do you realize florida hadn't had a losing sec record since the 70s before muschamp and also hadn't lost to vandy since 88?

Cool. He still has a national championship ring and coached a team to the Sugar Bowl. Spin it all you want but neither of those things has happened at South Carolina. Your argument would have failed.

Muschamp didn't win the Sugar Bowl as head coach. They lost to Louisville when Charlie Strong was still there. Muschamp didn't win jack shite as the head coach at UF.
