LSU is also playing Texas in 2020. LSU playing at* Rice is just like when LSU plays at* Tulane. A&M didn't play at SMU to get in on the Dallas recruiting scene.

No, we did it because we switched conferences and had to take some bad deals to get some needed home games in 2012 and 2013.
