Definitely yay. Children should grow up recognizing parental and social authorities.

Superficial conformity that involves everyone, such as uniforms does not stifle anyone. Rather, it shows the value of social cohesion. Individuality is deeper than the clothes we wear.

I also think that every person should serve two years in service to the country. That could take many forms, from military service to working in impoverished areas.
