WORST
Quarterback never stabilizes, Bo gets hurt early and often and the next group of guys aren't up to carrying the load. The O-line doesn't gel and is underwhelming. Defense carries the load all season, but can't overcome turnovers and bad offense in tough games away from home. Losses to USC, Ole Miss, Tennessee and LSU give Saban his worst season since 2007. FIRE EVERYONE.
So, in your WORST case scenario, you still beat Auburn.

At home? Yes.

We haven't lost to an unranked team since 2007. I'm pretty sure that Auburn will be unranked. So, even in the worst case scenario, we still beat Auburn. Yes. If we were playing at Auburn probably would be different.

Obviously Auburn could have one of those out of nowhere seasons AND we could have our worst season since 2007, leading to a loss. I think the odds of both of those things lining up would fall outside of the "reasonable" parameters I put in my OP.
