I honestly believe that as Muschamp builds the South Carolina program back up, that it will sustain success found in the earlier part of the decade. Georgia will at the very least sustain its success. What does tRant think?

You lost me at "muschamp builds the...program back up". This will be your Houston Nutt experiment. You're all excited now but can't shake this nagging at the pit of your stomach. You'll be frustrated at some boneheaded stuff but for a while some nice wins will placate you and you'll ignore that nagging feeling but before long there will be airplanes towing banners over your stadium.

Yeah maybe he's learned something from his time at Florida but if he made post-Meyer Florida mediocre/borderline terrible in 4 years, then I'm not sure how anyone expects him to rebuild a program that pulls in less talent than Florida

Muschamp will build a really good defense at South Carolina. But you guys are crazy if you think that he is going to build a strong overall program. He is a defensive coordinator. Not a head coach.

I think muschamp can do really good there. But Kirby has the best team and recruiting base. I think Kirby will be Richt pt 2 tho. I think muschamp can keep sc at 8-4 with the occasional 10-2 so if they are ok with that then I think muschamp could stay longer

The only thing Muschamp will build up is an urge to strike his players .

So a strong start with sec titles and then nothing but disappointment after that?

It'll be Muschamp. He's too tenacious and we're too patient. Plus we have an AD with a hard on for winning and winning big. It will work out.

Smart won't win any hardware the first 5 years, so he'll have a 9+ win season and they'll give him the boot.

Butch will be gone this year or next after he doesn't win the division again.

Beaver will be in the same boat as Smart, maybe a couple more SECe's, but won't beat bama in the SECCG, so they'll become impatient and drop him.

Stoops will be there a while and be one of their historically better coaches, but I'll reserve judgement until I see Kent in a SECCG. It hasn't happened yet and I can't remember the last time they were even a 1 game contention from it.

That about wraps up the SEC east guys, nobody else has a shot at even being in the discussion.
