1. When did Saban say they were LSU fans? I don't care about someone's interpretation of what they thought Saban insinuated. What were his actual words?
2. Lack of evidence. Illegal search. No charges. No laws broken.
3. Monroe PD responding to someone's interpretation of what they thought Saban insinuated continues to display unprofessionalism that began with an illegal search by his dept. in the first place.

Eh, an illegal search doesn't mean laws weren't broken. It means the cops screwed themselves and made the evidence of the laws broken inadmissible. what they actually did was still against the law and they're very fortunate to have had these charges dismissed.

This is why it was such a genius move by Saban. Tell Finebaum in "private" knowing he wouldn't be able to keep quit for more than 10 minutes. Now, Saban has plausible deniability and his worshippers will still eat it up.
Pure genius.

Lack of evidence. Illegal search. No charges.
=/=
No laws broken
It's an infringement on rights provided under the constitution. It does not mean there were no laws were broken.
Saying "no laws were broken" because of an illegal search makes one look dumb.

No it doesn't. If they never issued a response denying the allegations all you same asshats would be saying, "They aren't even denying it so there's obviously some truth".
ETA: Now, if you want to discuss the nature of the response being unprofessional, you have a point. However, to say replying in any way is unprofessional is utter nonsense.
