How quickly they give up is so frustrating to me. Any adversity and the best option in their minds is to quit. I get it you don't want to be in class but to stay eligible you HAVE to. To better your life you HAVE to. All they are really asking for is to put in effort and they will do anything to keep you on your path. It doesn't take brains or smarts to put forth effort and try. They can help you if you try and fail but they can't help you if you just quit.
After watching this show, I now understand why Nick Saban chooses to spend well over $100,000/year on psychologists for this players.
Those JUCO players come from the same background and family dynamic as some 5* players at Bama/LSU/UGA/FLA, etc. and our 5* studs were coddled during high school just like some of those kids in Scuba.

Exactly. These guys at EMCC have no worse attitudes than the guys at the power 5 schools. I bet if you followed players from Bama, Auburn, UGA, etc around, you would hear the same grumblings about coaching and play calling. The power 5 are just more prepared to handle them. The support staff to enforce going to class or not missing meetings/workouts is endless. I cant believe that some of yall are 'shocked' by the players behavior.
Now the coach on the other hand...
