LSU is no longer clearly better than the other competition in the west.
The reason the Bama LSU game was so hyped is because of the Saban factor and Bama and LSU were both two elite teams.
LSU is no longer elite and Saban has been at Bama almost a decade. The luster has worn off the game. Especially since LSU is incapable of scoring 20+ pts against Bama. 3 out of the last 5 games have not been remotley competitive.
Since LSU last beat Bama in 2011.
Auburn has beaten Bama in one of the greatest endings in history with the kick 6.
Texas A&M has beaten Bama. With Manziels Hiesman game.
Ole Miss has beaten Bama twice.
Bama honestly was outplayed by Arky in 2014 and was lucky to escape with a 1 pt win.
LSU has become just another game. LSU fans just hype it up to try to remain relevant.
LSU has tried to latch on to Bama to try to remain the illusion of being elite.

I expect this much delusion from Tennessee fans than LSU fans atleast Tennessee has been making it close for the past 2 years all the while LSU has been lubing up and bending over everytime Alabama steps on the field.
