Its funny that you as a fan consider it not to be a rivalry because you're just so Elite. However, it has been documented and said by Alabama football players that the game they circle every year is LSU. You can see the hatred that Bama has for the Tigers each year on display by the viciousness of the game. It is quite often the hardest hitting game of the season for both teams. Bama always shows up to play their best vs the Tigers and they usually play their A game. The same cant be said vs teams like Ole Miss, Arkansas, Miss St, Tennessee, etc. You can see the Alabama team go the extra length on some plays and put it all out on the field, and that tough nose play stems from their hatred of LSU and what most people would call "Rivalry"

LSU was a contested game because LSU was the team to beat in the SECw for a decade. That is no longer the case so the game no longer has the same meaning.
Arky has a much better coaching staff and they are more physical up front so they present a tougher challenge. Bama has not been able to run on Arky the last two years.
Ole Miss has a better coaching staff and a competent offense so they present a greater challenge.
Auburn is actual rivalry and actually won the west twice recently.
Texas A&M runs a style of offense that has been difficult at times for Bama to stop.
Missippi State is always a phyiscal game. Its always tough sledding against them.
LSU has done nothing recently to seperate themselves from the other programs. Thus it has become just another game.
