The two "Bama" players were in a car with two other men and that stolen gun is now the "smoking gun" in this case. The gun was stolen in Baldwin county and the Sheriff says one of the two players knows who stole the gun.

It looks like the two Alabama football players will go back to school and we may see them again on the playing field. "There were four people in the car, and it may have been under the drivers passengers seat, I can't prove who put it there, " said Ouachita Parish D.A. Jerry Jones. District Attorney Jerry Jones is talking about a stolen gun found in the same car the players were in the night of their arrest.

"One of the defendants in the vehicle did make a statement to the law enforcement over there regarding how long that person had been in possession of that weapon and who they got that weapon from, " said Baldwin County Sheriff Huey Mack Jr. The sheriff says the defendant that made that statement was either Cam Robinson or Laurence Jones. The investigation into the stolen gun in Baldwin County is not over.

"So that's part of our case we will continue in the investigation into that and we will continue to see if we bring forth any charges down the road as it relates to the original case," said Mack.
