Williams was the most productive football player in America last year bro. He was a situational third down specialist last year and his numbers were off the charts. His numbers will only improve after becoming the full time jack linebacker. He was unstoppable during spring ball.
Bottom line here guy is that we all know LSU will field an outstanding defense this year. It wasn't too bad last year even with Steele in charge. It's just that the Bama defense is going to be ultra-elite. Again. Jamal Adams would start on our defense and Beckwith would have a good chance to start next to Foster but other than those two all I see is talented tigers that would earn a spot in the rotation.
On top of that, our guys are much better coached and you guys are even changing philosophy this year.
Your defense will be good it just won't measure up to what Nick Saban will field. And that's ok man, very few defenses reach that level. Good luck next year man.

History says bama's defensive numbers (PPG and total D) will actually get a little worse in '16.

It sure was nice last year when williams could sip some sweet tea on the sidelines for almost the whole game. He steps in after Reed and Robinson beat the crap out of the OT on first and second down. Nineteen tackles in 15 games played doesn't mean he will be a great every down player. In spring game didn't he go up against a second team OT most of the game?

Again Godchaux and T White would start. Toliver would be nickle or dime back. KEY will be a holy terror in '16.

Coach "O" is one of the best DL coaches in the country. Dave Aranda is one of the BEST YOUNG dfensive minds out there and coach Raymond heads up DBU. Damn solid defensive staff.

How bout you name some of those great bama backups that are better than LSU's starters?
