bama total tackles returning

DL - 105
LB - 175
total - 280

DB - 173

LSU total tackles returning

DL - 174
LB - 203
total - 377

DB - 266

sacks

bama - 2.5 per game

LSU - 2.25 per game

TFL

bama - 4.0 per game

LSU - 3.8 per game.

Ints

bama - .87 per game

LSU - .67 per game

passes defended

bama - 2.9 per game

LSU - 3.3 per game

As for the total numbers in sacks, TFL, ints and passes defended the bama "D" had just under 100 more opportunities than LSU. In regards to total tackles the bama "D" had over 150 more chances than LSU.

All those per game numbers are pretty close. Not close in total tackles returning. Really not close in returning starts. In the secondary alone LSU returns 50 starts to bama's 31.

Our returning starters are better than your returning starters. Our returning backups are also better than your returning starters. I know this sounds douchey but it's true slick. You don't have a NG of caliber of Daron Payne. You don't have an outside pass rusher like Tim Williams. I think I see two defenders on your team that would start at Bama. An ilb and safety. That's it.
