apparently and the thing is if he was stating that LSU had one of the top 3 defenses in the SEC then I don't think many people would argue against that, but when u try to compare it to the Bama D when many people thought it was along the same lines as the defenses back in 2011 and 2012 which in many people eyes are one of the greatest defenses in CFB history. Then how can you in all good reasoning even think that LSU is on the same level when some of the games that they lost werent even close.

Also the two leading players who had sacks are returning along with the player who had the most INT's so actually the guys who did the heavy lifting are still here

The only comparison I made in regards to the two defenses as a whole was about our six common opponents. Tigers held four of the six to fewer total yards.

Everything else is about what the two teams return off those "Ds" heading into '16. The tigers do return a boat load of talent.

The last three times at bama saban returned five or fewer starters on defense, the points allowed and total defensive numbers went up. Look for history to repeat itself.
