However, just know they make money on things that are free on other airlines like a seat assignment, checked bags, food, drink, etc.

I saw most packages and things were cheaper going out of JFK. I was thinking of a one day train trip to New York. Amtrack has a 22 hour train ride and never done a train trip either. I may have to do Norway next year though, when I could go this year, there'll only be 3 or so hours of daylight and that would kinda put a damper on sightseeing.
