I don't know about Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, but if the summer is anything like Finland hopefully you just happen to make it to this area on the 1 day of summer we have every year. We did have the warmest May in 55 years, but its quickly given way to rain and cold.
That being said, in July, I believe the 31st this year we have the annual Vantaa River Beer Float. Which is on my bucket list and I plan on going this year. LINK
Also, don't know if you are single or not, but Milliklubi in Helsinki is rated as the number 1, one night stand club in the entire world.

Yeah.. checking climates the time of year I was thinking about going is probably going to make that a different time trip. Cold, wet and 3 hrs of light would be waiting for me when I was thinking of going. Ireland may be my next first choice.

That video was awesome. But there is no way that that river had enough time to warm up to any American Southerner's standards in the short "summer-time" that you get in Finland. It bet it is ice-cold and not a single person in that video had any type of sunburn. Nope!
I just bought a sprinkler for my kids and hooked it up to an outside water hose for some cooling off and it took 5 minutes to get the boiling hot water out of the water pipes just to let them cool off without them having 2nd degree burns.
I don't think my kids are ready to swim in Finland right now, lol.
