I was at the season opener in Athens in the rain when UT started their 0-6 streak in 1988. Interesting story...during their bye week UT hired a new DC (Doug Mathews) and switched from a 3-4 to a 4-3...they won 5 of their last 6 with their only loss being to Bama and went 11-1 the following season.
