Kentucky has never made it out of regional play. That surprises me considering they won the SEC under Cohen

Yeah, I think the closest was losing to Arizona in the regional final in 2008 in Ann Arbor. And the Louisville regional recently.

They fell under the NCAA screw a SEC, advance an ACC team curse
Should have hosted a few years ago but got sent to the Purdue or Indiana regional because the B1G wanted a host site for their BTN. That was the game UK went 21 innings and lost. Played at the Cliff, they get familiarity with that field and better hitting, and should have advanced.
