Well while Clemson was winning ACC titles and playing in Orange bowls, recording 10 and 11 win seasons they were also losing to USC 5 consecutive years and USC during that time span has zero BUS bowls or SEC championships to show.

clemson also beat some SEC teams those years that SC lost to, and also beat a Ohio State team that would have beat SC and other SEC teams.
3 of the years that SC beat CU, CU had several losses to other teams as well.
CU has wins over LSU, UGA, SC, FSU, Auburn (twice), Oklhoma twice Ohio State, ND, a potent UNC team last year, and would have won the Bama game if not for the quirky rule that allows kicking team to catch a ball they kicked, the past 5 years.
