Some Recent Facts
The SEC is 10-1 in National title games verses other conferences since the turn of the century. The one loss was a team from the SEC using a DB as a QB against a team that literally has every starter from that game playing in the NFL today. FSU was so poorly battle tested by the ACC that they needed some considerable breaks to go their way to win the game despite the clear talent advantage they possessed.

title game isn't measuring conference toughness as a whole.
if SEC was as competitive as claimed, Saban wouldn't have woni t so much both at LSU and bama. auburn only won it a couple o years ago due to a fluke special teams play at the end.
Urban Meyer accounts for another 2 titles for the SEC. its really about those two coaches, not the SEC.
