- It appears David Pierce is going to be the domino that kicks off the Alabama and Texas hires. He's a Texas native so he may take that job or he may elect to stay at Tulane.
- Cliff Godwin has expressed interest in the Alabama job.
- John Cohen, a Tuscaloosa native, checks off the most boxes on Battle's wish list and Alabama is interested in him.
Not much of an update.

Announcement expected any moment, but by the end of the week, according to a great friend that is in the know. Think someone was getting the last interview today and there have already been at least 2 interviews earlier this week. My friend says put your money on the G's, which means Godwin or Goff.
