It's a terrible thread, but Ole Miss and LSU were both top candidates for the 8th seed.

As was said, terrible thread is terrible.
But getting Utah as a 4 seed, Tulane as a 2 seed and being paired against Miami (who has a cake regional) was a Vaseline-free screw job by tNCAA.
