Huh?Conley was the one who caught the ball Michell was
the intended receiver who was COVERED.Unless you think they were throwing to a guy 3 yards short of the endzone
with 9 seconds left and no timeouts.

Back shoulder throw to mitchell who would have been OOB at the zero or TD, but ball was tipped and Conley was as confused as anyone to turn around and see it coming to him.

The Smart part about the play call was that if it hadn't been tipped (thanks to Gurley II missing his block) and was incomplete, the clock would have stopped, and we could have ran another play.

It was a brilliant call under the most intense pressure that is possible and Richt should be commended for it. Of course though, to this day, there are still nega knee jerk ers who actually think Richt blew it.

Understood. I misunderstood what you were saying initially, but you're right.
