What is the rule on how the batter can be halfway out of the box/up the line and still swinging?
Also, there is not one good looking chick on either Bama or Washington.
I miss the mid 2000s Arizona women softball teams.

they are supposed to call them if they make contact out of the box, but very few do

I've seen MLB & minor league batters do that & nothing called. Then why have a batter's box?

Perhaps you are watching slapping which works in softball due to distance and speed that is not in baseball. Unlike a bunt, where the batter is stationary, the slapper is already in motion. Here is a link to get a better feel.
