The NCAA doesn't really do long bans. Bama only got two years for Albert Means. I am not saying we won't get any punishment but people who think the NCAA will seek to cripple us in the long term will be disappointed. It isn't because it is OM, it is simply the nature of the NCAA. No probations can go over longer term so you better stay out of trouble.

I don't see more than a two year post season ban. Too much money wrapped up in tv deals. But I do expect the NCAA to use ole miss as proof that they aren't castrated. After Miami and auburn, they have a lot of egg on their face. I'm thinking it'll be 20-25 scholarships over 4-5 years.

The only way a long ban gets implemented, is if the second letter comes. Then, y'all are screwed.

Despite the focus of many posters on the Freeze era problems, those are not the ones that would result in massive punishment. Small amounts of money from boosters and kids on couches do not scare me like the Saunders troubles. That was big time trouble. If they decide not to let us get over with the passage of time they could really whack us good. The rest is less scary.
