This is pretty much my take on it too, which is why it's a bit surprising (even though there is alabama hatred/fatigue across much of the conference, and LSU fans will jump on any chance to blast kids from their own state who make a mistake as long as they leave the state first).

The OM thing will be a national story for a while, and could be something we talk about for years to come. This story today will be blown over in a matter of days.

So Bama fans think drug and weapons charges are significantly less serious that a player taking money?

Really? Would you feel the same if the 2 schools roles were reversed?
