The best German weißbiers here are Weihenstephaner (vitus or hefe), Ayinger, and Franziskaner. Ayinger is really tough to find in MS, but I've found it a few times.

The reason they won't taste the same here is they're not coming right out of the tap. I studied in Germany for a while, so I know your pain. Can't wait to go back, although I prefer the north German style Pilsner.
