Odom should not be on the hot seat

This really isn't a "Hot seat" question. Every "new" coach should get 2-3 years to get their system in place with the athletes they need to run it. Nobody's getting fired after 1 year.

This is more of a "Who's under the most pressure to perform THIS year" question given the expectations of the Fans, boosters and media (local and national).

Personally, I think Odom has the least pressure of the three new head coaches in the SEC (east). But then again, I don't really know what the expectations of the Mizzou fans are for 2016. There was a lot of turmoil around the Mizzou football team in 2015, and I don't know what carries over and what doesn't.

As for Smart vs Muschamp, it boils down to a few things. UGA didn't dump Richt to go backwards, but on the flip side, this is his first go around as Head coach (so you have to cut him some slack there).

On Muschamp, this is time #2, and all of his talk is "I learned from my mistakes at UF." The counter point(s) here are, SC isn't the recruiting hot bed the Florida is, but (traditionally) their fans don't expect as much as UF's fans do either.

So my inclination is that Smart has slightly more pressure on him than Muschamp, but it's close.

Sc won 3 games so 4 would be an improvement, which doesnt involve much pressure.
