They have an exemption the rest of the SEC agreed to.

I tend to think they will do jack shite because they are the NCAA and they are powerless but they got made a mockery of in one of the highest profile sporting events of the year so they might.
They let Cam Newton get paid because they didn't want to risk bad rating if TCU or some shite school got in the national title game, they will turn a blind eye to Bama and OSU - don't think Ole Miss is that protected so going to be interesting to see if they will actually do anything.
If they don't though, every school out there should just set up pay for play.
