Yeah the 4-5 seasons after Katrina were rough, watching players that grew up in Nola/south La killing it in other states and staying there for college. Some high profile guys.
Still see it here and there but the recruits now were only 5 years old or so when Katrina hit.

The defensive talent from Texas high school has fell hard since the the early 2000s.
