You can't compare Auburn and UNC to Ole Miss.
Ole Miss is a nothing University to the NCAA, they are literally the perfect school to make an example of. Auburn and UNC bring in ridiculous revenue, the NCAA goes out of their way to avoid punishing them.

The only reason Ole Miss will get a harsh penalty if they get one is because LT announces it on national tv and at the NFL draft. The NCAA will have to save face and give Ole Miss some type of punishment
