quote:No hate, it's a ranking system that has concrete criteria. And we do have a lot of subpar athletes in the NFL so not going to disagree with it.
Seems pretty clear at this point that Florida is Bust U in the SEC.

Chill bros - for some reason the table is only showing 25 teams in that last grouping.

Alabama, LSU and Tennessee are the only programs that are in the Top 6 in both volume of 1st round picks and production % of those picks.
Kentucky, Arkansas and South Carolina all in the Bottom 10 of both.

Not that it matters, but Mizzou has had 4/8 make a Pro Bowl, not 3/8.
1) Justin Smith
2) Jeremy Maclin
3) Aldon Smith
4) Sheldon Richardson
Pro Bowls are a dumb criteria though- All-Pro would be better.

It is interesting, but doesn't take into account that when one team has 13 players drafted in 1st round, and another has 26, then the team with 26 is twice as likely to have a player not meet one of the criterion.
Someone wishing to do a true analysis would/should factor in a probability component into the equation.

Why start at 1990?
The year before, 1989, Bama had one of the greatest players drafted in 1st round and he was a 9 time pro bowler.... Derrick Thomas.

Good question. I was going to say b/c it looks at 25 draft classes, but it is actually 26, so even that doesn't make sense.
