FWIW, I've noticed this rule concerning "hanging threads" does not appear to exist on the SEC Rant. Is this only a GSB rule?

No

For some reason it isn't enforced on there. Most things aren't enforced on there it seems. I've let most of the titles go. I can't remember the last time I deleted one. I did anchor Cobb Dawg's thread just because though.

It's not policed much on the SECR because apparently the mods there DGAS about much and the inmates are running the asylum. Team boards get much less traffic than the main board so I assume mods have an easier time dealing with those.

Also to my knowledge, I don't think there's been much deleting/anchoring on here due to thread titles since that initial period where everyone flipped out.

And I mean really, how hard is it to at least give SOMEWHAT of an idea of your topic in the OP? This thread is an example of one that probably *should* be dealt with.
