Conservatives by definition have the position of conserving what we have. It is their job to conserve that which is good. Liberals on the other hand have more of an approach to liberate us from that which is bad.

Bad politics happens when Conservatives try conserve something that is not good and when liberals try to liberate is from something that is not bad.
