I figured with all the hypothetical threads bouncing around predicting surprise teams, future let downs, and Berts season ending waistline number we could compile those kind of predictions into this thread. I will throw out a few to get it started...

LSU wins the West, but falls in the first round of the Playoffs in a nailbitter due to a controversial call that will be talked about all next offseason...

Kirby has a great first year and leads UGA to Atlanta; where they get beat by 17 in a LSU blowout...

South Carolina surprises everyone in the East and finishes 2nd behind UGA...

Arky finally beats A&M and gets that early season monkey off their back; only to lose to LSU by 17...

A&M does not crown Trevor Knight a Heisman contender after week 4; but Knight leads all SEC QBs in stats at the end of the season; along with a 10-2 record...

What are your bold predictions for the upcoming season? Let's try to keep this troll/flame free.

South Carolina beats Florida and Tennessee but loses to Kentucky and Mizzou.

UGA wins the East and the SEC, but loses in the first round of the playoffs.

Tennessee loses to Florida ... again.

Florida loses to Boom and SCAR, in The Swamp, and we witness an epic melt from ForeverGator, et al.

LSU wins the West but loses to the SEC East champ in Atlanta on a controversial call ... but the question is, will the controversial call come from the refs or from the Les?

UGA wins the East and Dawg fans declare Kirby the next coming of Saban.

Bama loses to LSU and Arkansas.

No team in the conference goes undefeated.

Auburn fires Gus.

Mizzou finds itself in trouble and on very shaky ground regarding their future.

MSU surprises even with the loss of Dak.

A&M fires Sumlin ... he wins one he is not supposed to win but loses a few he is supposed to win plus there are more internal problems.

Kentucky plays everyone tough ... pulls off a major upset at their place.

OP started the thread with "bold predictions" and people are laughing at him for making one. Go figure.

Knight has some physical gifts at QB to work with, in a QB friendly offense, with some elite playmakers around him. Combine that with the lack of elite passers in the SEC and it's very doable imo. I could also see 10-2 with losses to 2 of Bama/Ole Miss/LSU. A&M has a very talented team. They're my sleeper in the West

Very bold. Who will they lose two games to?

LSU beats Tennessee to go to the playoffs.
Georgia will be very good in Smarts first year. Would not be surprised if they win the east.

2. Florida State
3. Ohio State
4. Oregon

Bama beats LSU by 10 with zero penalties called on LSU.

Oh, whatever would they whine about if this happened?
