Outside of Kelly I don't get the hype around OM. They lost a ton and the odds of beating bama 3 straight is slim to none and LSU has them at home. Hell they go away 2 weeks in a row to Arkansas and LSU.

Not to mention if they lose to FSU in the opener it won't help anything.

I think they'll be good but I'd take LSU and bama over them when looking at depth chart and schedule. JMO

Edited to not be so combative.

The next year: "This is FINALLY the year!"

The next year: "I'm tellin you guys. It's really gonna happen this time!"

I mean, Auburn won the SEC just a couple years ago. Bama may be king of the mountain but to act as though no one else can win the west is dumb. Bama, LSU and OM are all capable this year.

Auburn has zero chance to win the SEC W. Its Bama or LSU. Not buying OM

AU is gonna be hot garbage, I agree. Sorry AU fans, I don't mean that in a trolling way. I just think your off season decisions were bad.

I'm not in on OM either, as I said earlier. Just saying they're capable. It's still bamas conference at this point. I won't believe any LSU hype until I see Miles approve a few forward passes in a row, and Harris complete them, vs a competent defense.

This is my honest-to-god, no troll prediction:

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. Auburn
6. MSST
7. A&M

Sumlin's results have been worse every season since 2012. A last-place finish should be great news for Aggy fans.

Not buying hype but Miles track record of putting talented teams on the field is there. I am with you on Harris. Some teams can live without a decent QB, LSU is not one of them

I think your bottom 3 are interchangeable with TAMU having the best opportunity to not finish last because of Knight. I do think y'all need a change at HC though. That relationship seems to have run its course.

Agree completely, unfortunately. BUT as thunderbird said, one would think nearly being fired and really only being saved because of the optics, would be enough of a wake up call. Hiring Craig was a good move. Cautiously optimistic. And by cautiously I mean, like, extremely cautious. I'm not expecting shite.

Here's a thought for y'all. State hasn't finished last in the SEC since 2009, Mullen's first year. We have been picked to finish last place every year since then and have been no worse than 5th. Please keep underestimating us.
