Gotcha. How many of 2015's D were first year starters and/or freshmen? I really don't know, but those would be the players I'd expect to get the biggest "jump" simply due to experience. Largely due to settling into the "speed of the game" difference between HS and NCAA.

Harris is/was a great "prospect" too.

#3 DT QB, but to my recollection was always seen as a *bigger* threat running the ball or at the very least, moving from the pocket and making plays happen from scrambles. Will never claim to know more about an LSU player than a fan, just what I recall from recruiting.

Metts 2012 mirrored Harris' 2014 in almost every way...great arm, frustrating to watch, full of potential.

Really? I didn't watch every LSU game, but the ones I did, I never saw much there.

is it likely Harris makes the same jump? not really, But it's possible. And it's also not likely he doesn't improve at all

I'd agree with this assessment. But I do think it takes a pretty sizable improvement in QB play to have a legit shot at a ship. Could obviously be wrong, as it's just one dude's opinion. If everything *else* goes perfectly, could probably survive with minimal improvement to Harris, but perfection is damn difficult to achieve.

It's hard to follow others schools classes closely.
Harris was ranked highly bc of his arm though. He was never a run first guy but he can scramble, which is why he was rated dual threat. He wasn't ranked highly due to his running ability.

Hes had struggles with accuracy and going through progressions which will come with experience.

He can make every throw though and has an NFL caliber arm. Only QB on the roster that can be said for, similar to when mett was here.
