Hell, take other conferences out of the conversation.

While Hawaii is not a traditionally talent rich state, would LSU or AU or UT fans be okay if Alabama were to decide to hold "spring training" in Honolulu during spring break?

Would UF fans be cool with Saban holding a camp in Gainesville? LSU fans okay with a Saban camp an UHigh in Baton Rouge? A&M fans okay with a Saban camp in College Station?

Alabama can financially afford to do such things; what if other SEC schools could not?

Just because this started with Harbaugh holding a few camps in the south doesn't mean that a lot of the "richer" football schools wouldn't take this and run wild with it.

It's not taking away something from northern schools. Some schools have more desirable locations than others, that's just geography.

Don't care.

I'd hope UF would host a camp in Tuscaloosa but therein lies the problem. The war gets expanded.
