My guess from spending a lot of years there and now watching most games on TV would be
4-5K in the stands for bad, Tue/Wed non conference games (5 games)
12-15K for conference games (9 games)
If you generally apply those totals across our schedule this year it comes to an average of about 10,000.

I'm not sure what you think is cute. Attendance numbers are not gate numbers.
You can argue with the Aubie about 4k all day. Unless someone has gate numbers then it's all BS.

I mean, that's cute and all, but I'm not sure about the "4,000 average attendance" that NYT is talking about.
so you dont believe me?
you were able to search the other quickly, but glanced right over the actual attendance figures.
Its not a bad thing, Bama does it well. They package basketball tickets with several thousand football tickets. its a forced buy to get the football tickets. it in turn, elevates their tickets sold attendance numbers
