what hurts the most is knowing that Ole Miss was the best team in both games, and yet lost both. which makes YAOM seem legitimate

lol wat?
in the 2003 LSU Ole Miss game, Ole Miss was outgained 341 to 227. Y'all had 27 rushing yards. Ole Miss was not the better team in that game nor were they a better team that season

How in God's name do you get to the conclusion that Ole Miss was the best team in the 2003 LSU-Ole Miss game? LSU dominated statistically. The only reason Ole Miss was even in the game at the end was that our flu-ridden QB threw like a million picks, including a pick-6 for half your points, and a questionable defensive holding penalty on a third down stop kept your ONLY scoring drive of the game alive.
Oh, and by the way, Ole Miss lost to Memphis and Texas Tech that year, while LSU won the national championship.
The better team clearly won that game, despite not playing one of our better games and playing on the road in a rivalry game against our toughest competition with its once-in-a-generation superstar player leading them to their best season in over 30 years.
