I agree with this.
Of course this is far different than claiming Alabama is "upper echelon" in basketball, like it was claimed earlier in the thread.

Eh, probably right. Really meant upper half. The upper echelon is the National Title winners (Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida) with LSU next because of the multiple Final Fours and other success.
