Being completely dismissive of our all time overall wins is pretty silly.

Yes. Why don't you ask LSU baseball fans if they would prefer your 14 extra wins (out of around 2,500 total) to their 17 trips to Omaha and 6 national titles? Then we'll find out who is being "pretty silly."

I think that everyone agrees postseason success carries a greater value than a few more wins, but the idea that overall wins don't matter at all is silly.

If that is the case, basically the entire SEC outside of Alabama has some serious crappy football history considering the very small number of national titles they have.

LSU - 3
Florida - 3
Tennessee - 2
Auburn - 1
Georgia - 1
Texas A&M - 1

A bunch of wins with nothing to show for it.

So you admit you wasted two full page posts arguing around a premise that was completely wrong - assuming I was talking about SEC wins?

Our overall wins in both sports easily places us in the "upper echelon" of the conference. To suggest otherwise is very, very silly.

Are you honestly trying to hold the position that Georgia has had a better overall baseball history after what Summer of George posted showing how laughable that is? In case you didn't read it on the earlier page.

Let's start with the stats in UGA's favor:

CWS appearances:

UGA - 6
Bama - 5

Baseball national championship:

UGA - 1
Bama - 0 (includes 2 runner up finishes)

It's all Bama after that:

NCAA tourney appearances:

Bama - 23
UGA - 13

SEC championships:

Bama - 14
UGA - 7

SEC tourney titles:

Bama - 7
UGA - 0

Let me guess, you still have UGA as the better all time program?
