When have we claimed to be successful in basketball or baseball? We are a football school first and foremost, we all know football is King at Alabama ~ always has been, always will be.

The bottom line here is that even though Alabama is a football school, the other 2 men's sports have been respectable.

The OP can't say the same.

Go look at post #2 in this very thread... the one I responded to. It trumpeted Bama's position in all-time SEC wins as if that has anything to do with basketball success. First of all, by counting only SEC wins it disqualifies programs like Arkansas and Missouri from the discussion... two programs that are far more successful than Alabama. Secondly, that argument values something that frankly is just not very important.

If Team A has 24 wins but doesn't make the NCAA Tournament... but Team B has 18 wins and makes the NCAA tournament, everyone regards Team B as having the better season. Wins without NCAA tournament play are pretty much worthless.
