Instead of UALR. How cool is that? As a Little Rock native I really like what CBS is doing. Gives me a lot of city pride.

Yeah I like that as their branding. It just sounds better than UA Little Rock.
I'd be find with them calling themselves LRU. That used to be their name, I think.

I like that. UAB basketball occasionally wears basketball jersey's that say "Birmingham" across the front as an FU to Bama. The BOT got all butthurt about it and told them to stop doing it because it "hurt the branding" but they broke them back out again for the CUSA tourney

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (Wally) trying to be an arse and continue referring to them as 'UALR', when CBS, ESPN etc. have gone along and refer to them as Little Rock.
If Wally et al doesn't want to call them Little Rock, then don't ever refer to the University of Mississippi as Ole Miss.
