In '09 I'm sure Mark Ingram is listed as the starting QB against VTech, but only because he took the first snap out of the wildcat formation. I don't put a lot of emphasis on "starts".

Bingo. Anyone who thinks Bama's defense isn't returning a ton of experience/starts and absolutely loaded to the gills with talent wasn't paying attention. Looking at who took the first snap of every game is a piss poor berometer of what they'll see on the field in 2016 from this Alabama defense. Top 5 defense, easy.
