I will be interested to see what happens with Arden Key and Kendall Beckwith in Aranda's new defensive scheme. I look for them to be feature guys.
Looking like LSU moving to a 3-4 hybrid. I would expect a couple of LB's to make some hay in this scheme...

but 2k doesn't count for anything unless it's done in a 12 game season. Henry broke 2k at a terrible 5.6 ypc.. LF7 had the chance to crush records but Miles doesn't play that game.
Henry didn't get a lot of carries during Bama's cupcake games while LF was getting many more carries those games.
OOC for LF. 26 carries in all 3 games
26 for 244 @SYR26
26 for 233 EMU
26 for 150 WKU
78 for 627 totals
Henry
WIS 13 147 3
MTSU 18 96 3
ULM 13 52 1
CHSO 9 68 2
Totals 53 for 363
LF padded his stats more then Henry in cupcakes. Miles did play that game
If Henry had got more carries in those games you could add another 400 yds to his totals.

Henry had 65 carries while Alabama was up by three or more possessions this season... LF7 had 19 carries while LSU lead by three or more possessions
Henry had more carries last season than any RB in like 10 years ... I think the 2nd most all-time in CFB

Well that's just because Lsu wasn't able to get big leads early in games. Plus, doesn't have anything to do with my rebuttal, Henry had considerable less carries vs the cupcakes OOC games than LF.

And because when LSU had big leads LF7 was replaced by backups.
Reality is that 5.6 ypc is pretty bad in modern football.

LF didn't see the field in the last third of several early season games. He had several games where he could have broken the LSU single game record, but Miles sat him. Not sure what you are talking about.

Dupre is already rated as a first-round pick, despite playing for Les' throw-seldom offense. His numbers don't even have to increase for him to maintain his status. I'd insert Maea Tuehema, Kevin Tolliver, Tyron Johnson and Toby Weathersby into the breakout group. Starting as freshmen OL in the SEC makes it easy to predict a guy like Tuehema is about to blow up. Weathersby may turn out to be even better. That's one bad-arse group of sophomores playing for LSU.

I honestly think Drake Davis is the most talented prospect in the nation for 2016. His odd journey to college football left him short of that fifth star but he's got the height, the track speed, apparently solid hands, and those dunk videos show some NBA acrobatics. But who knows if LSU will ever use him effectively? It's odd to say that he has a better chance to be an NFL All Pro than to ever make All SEC but that's LSU football under Miles/Cameron.
