IIRC he had UNM or NMSU on Cyrus Kouandjio's short list when he was a coach there. That's how much pull he has with DC area kids. A 5* with NM as one of his favorites; everyone was like WTF?

Damn, I completely forgot about Cyrus having New Mexico on his list. That was shocking at the time.
